I’m participating in this year’s Mad Dash! Eight brand-new ten-minute plays are written, rehearsed, and performed in a 24-hour period. Saturday, July 11, 8pm, at the Cambridge YMCA. Proceeds benefit Fresh Ink Theatre and Interim Writers, two awesome theatre groups who do a LOT for local playwrights. If you can’t be there in person, follow the fun at #MadDash2015.
Meet my writing group’s shiny new website: Writers at Play. We had our first showcase of readings on Monday, June 22, featuring scenes from new full-length plays we’ve been workshopping. I showed off a sneak peek of a brand-new full-length I’m currently writing called Time Steps, a comedy involving old friends, tap dance, and reignited teen jealousies.
Students at Community College Rhode Island performed The Mouse as part of their Pardon the Interruption: Six Student-Directed Short Plays festival in April. I hope they had as much fun working on it as I did writing it.
